I actually LOVED G'n'R when they first came out - but I knew things were a bit suspect when their lead singer continued to wear spandex cycling shorts on stage. I mean, the rest of the crew? Solid rockers. Booty short wannabe boy? Hurtin.
While I'm not a fan, I think he used any circumstance to get offstage due to his voice not standing up under his sideshow activities..
Just seems to make sense when nothing else does.....
Or he's just a douche

maybe dunlop will a signature series for him, when engaged it will randomly chuck mics to the ground and make you walk off stage in the middle of the set bitchin and moaning.
Hey, if that's the cost of getting his voice out of the PA, then so be it!
I don't know enough about G&R to know who had what amount of songwriting credits, but Axl did seem to at least have provided a positive spark to the band in some way depite the horrid vocals. IMO, one of the worst rock vocal voices ever yet with one of the best opportunities ever only to trash it.
