...which one(s) can do the original EL34 Shiva Overdive Channel tone?

I don't believe any of them were designed with that in mind.

Thanks Bob. Are any of them close?
Just looking for a similar fat grind in a low wattage platform for recording.

I've got a Brixton that I really like. Not sure how close it is to the Shiva but it sounds really good IMHO.

I had a 15 Watt Duende, which came darn close to that Shiva sound on the drive channel.

Thanks Nick. That's good to know. I always wondered about the older amps like Duende and Metropolis. Hard to find those things.

The Duende really was phenomenal. I just couldn't justify keeping it solely for a studio/practice amp. I built a Tweed Deluxe 15W clone with my dad, and decided to just keep that for super low volume gigs, since it was a combo (and sounded great). But I miss the Duende at times.

The Duende tones were great. Very Fender blackface deluxe-y clean. And a slightly more vintage sounding Shiva-esque drive channel. With the gain boost engaged, plenty of nice saturation too.

I own a Metropolis too. Totally different ballgame than the Shiva. More like a BadCat Matchless Voxy type amp. Class A tones. Squishier, chime-ier.

Here's a demo I did of the Duende

Fast forward to 3:20 for drive tones.

I was going to say the Duende is sort of similar. Love that amp! Nice demo Nick!

I'm not familiar with that line. This is the Panama. Not really a Shiva sound (Shiva really has it's own thing going on) but this is one of the tones you can get from the Panama.
