The Dimarzio Transition pickups and V-30 speakers Luke uses add in a bunch of mids/high mids the Bogner doesnt normally have. Might explain the weird EQ settings on his amps...

Yeah, I didn't care much for the dark tone on the overdriven stuff he was playing but the cleans sounded great. Bogners are known for that smooth tone though but I prefer a little more bite or crispness.

I had one and sold it. Was just OK for me. Tim Rose had an early, early one (white chassis) maybe it was serial #3?

Most likely a 100B.

I don't really find his tone dark

Sure it's not bright like a Marshall but it wasn't what I would call dark.
