Luxxtone El Machete on the way! compare to charvel custom?

I live pretty close to where they are made, and I have played quite a few. I also love very close to where the charvels are made, and again have played quite a few.

The Luxxtone is miles and away a better "feeling" guitar to me, the wood choices, tr finishing work, and most importantly the necks. Charvel necks have a great feel, but the luxxtones are just way better, I even was lucky enough to just score a Luxxtone neck for a Strat I have.

i dont really know much about luxxtone, i can never seem to come across one to play.
i dig the aged look and some of the paint jobs are really cool, is brad and tone merch the only dealers??

i see some people saying they are really nice, so im curious what makes them nice?? what do you like about them, is it the looks? tone? feel? or the fact nobody really has one.

We should be in a few other dealers soon. Just have to get the guitars done for them

While it's true there is an internal "cool factor" to having a guitar very few have and ask questions about, but MY answer to your above question is feel.

Ok, never saw this one before...sick!!! Does the switch tap and/or split the pickup? Or does it have a piezo or hidden neck pickup?

It's the hidden neck pickup on Jim's Luxxtone. VERY cool idea!

Jim picked all the specs. It was a great idea. Jerry painstakingly shaved the plate so that the pup wouldn't sound muffed.
