Ok, those are not bad looking bat all but not a traditional finish, again, not bashing just stating what I see. Nice, would like to try one some time. Honestly you probably won't go wrong with either a Suhr or Luxtone.

Too hard of a decision to make...walk away from both and get an Anderson
Speaking of Anderson, I play this guitar at the Mesa Hollywood store Saturday and I'm thinking about going back and grabbing it. Amazing guitar!:

I won't ever buy a guitar again that I can't play before purchasing it. Never. Not a cheap one and certainly not a $2K+ guitar.
I don't care what anyone says, you cannot know what you're getting until you play it. Spec'd out or not.

See many guys selling guitars they spec'd with manufacturers only to get them they don't feel or sound as expected. It's tough. These manufacturers are great, and I'm sure they do what they can to please clients, but........... :aww:

Slightly off-topic... so many a nice guitar here ruined with those Floyd's ugghhh! I am sure Luxxtone would love to do CNC guitars if they are not already (as of a several months ago they were not) but there is a bit of learning curve I hear in knowing how to work with them and going to cost. May or may not be the right timing for that given the times. Played both brands. Someone put it well when we they said Luxxtone is more in the hot-rodded vintage domain whereas Suhr is superstrat or modern just add vintage strats with a couple modern appointments as they say. That blue Luxxtone with the P-90 in the neck had a really nice clean or dirty blues-rock tone to it. Like that pickup config.

I don't see the big deal. I just send the ones back I don't want and all I'm out is shipping. I draw from a much bigger inventory this way...

So if I'm reading this right, the Luxxtones are crafted using only hand tools, like planes and hand saws and sanding blocks and chisels?

Like I really care how the guitar is made????? I only care how well it's made.
