Yep George needs to get another Lynch Mob cd going. Love Kings X but i'm not to into the latest project. Just leaves me flat

I skimmed through and checked out some solos, yes, sounds great!

Never really listened to him before this thread, only 10 min in but it's pretty cool.

WAT?!?

Someone please post some sweet Lynch vids to educate this human. Mainly because it is late on St. Patricks Day and I am not going to go looking for any.

When Lynch is on, it is an eye opening experience to see and hear. Unique approach that borders on slop yet still precise.

Here is a quick intro to some studio work:

Give the KXM a few listens, as I felt the same way when I first got it, but I gotta tell ya after a few more listens it hits you like a ton of bricks man .. and in a good way at that. Ray's drumming is off the hook and the bass just thumps as well as Lynch's guitar which is the most tame of the 3 efforts here, but still not too bad IMHO.

As far as this Lynch mob vid... well I think it's pretty damn good myself

Nah, doesn't have the same fire and phrasing he did in the show i posted this morning from 1991. That said, this latest outing is the strongest band he has had in a while and the singer is pretty solid. Feel bad for him in spots because Lynch's timing and dicking around is throwing him off. You see some of his old self shine through but ultimately he goes wayyyyy off on the improv in other parts. The into the Fire solo in this show was horrible.

Last I checked this was an open forum where we are allowed to have opinions.. are you on the same one? But hey, you are right, because you and 5 other people thought it was great I should probably change my mind and agree that Lynch was incredible....

The guy has it in him but the improv bits have got to go. They aren't working.. has nothing to do about growing as a musician because listening back he should be able to hear where he is not "on". Again though, that is just my non Lynch nut hugging "expert" analysis and critique.

George Lynch is my favorite player when he is on .
However in my opinion in the past almost 20 years I think most of his songs are uninspired .
I feel just like his endorsements he just spits stuff out and even at times tries to get on the modern band wagon in hopes he can grab a buck .
I think there are a few bright spots on his stuff here n there but for the most part there's only a few songs on any of his stuff I dig n the rest is mediocre to me .
Not since the first two Lynch Mob lp's do I listen to his stuff straight through .
I also think that Dokkens last lp Broken Bones is the best Dokken since Back For The Attack .
I thought Dysfunctional had some great stuff but not all did I like and Shadows Of Life stunk .
Don't get me wrong I love George's playing it's his writing at times that I think is weak .

Great show. My fave player.

Seems to play better when is is off the HGH. :)

This music has had it's day. Rehashing it in 2014.....it's bar band shit at best. This guy can only do one thing and his time is long gone. Trying to look cool with the ciggy is pathetic. I feel sorry for these 80's guys. The music has no longevity.

Is it as good as the Early stuff? Maybe not , but it is still one of the better Lynch Mob performances he has currently done is all I was stating.

You are certainly intilted to your opinion and yes this is an open forum, although you are quite the critic and that is all I was saying and I stand by that .
I will just enjoy it and not try to compare it to early Lynch or whatever and you can go on analyzing it all you want
