Yeah he likes those wizards as well... essentially the only staple of his rig seem to be the cabs and that mystery boutique combo. I suppose pedals are more or less set as well but was surprised to hear from friedman that he rounds effects out front of the amp (including delay).
As for the lynchbox, yeah i'd say he is totally admitting that it isn't what he wanted.. I also never saw him play his signature judge module. He did however rock the brahma with a boost for promotional tours in guitar stores. I thought the tone was pretty good. At those volumes, the randalls hold up. I remember that interview where he talked about the modules and A/B'ing them with his marshalls and by the end of it, he was choosing the modules..... yeah right

I'd have to rank Lynch number 2 at feeding bullshit to the masses in interviews right behind the king EVH. 
I do like them both but at this point I don't know if either of them know which version of the truth is even right anymore.

It's a shame about the new Lynchboxes. If only Fortin had a hand in the LB103 . . .
Personally I think they are both really good amps.
I've seen videos of Lynch apparently using the MTS and LB103 amps on various occasions. I have to wonder, for a sig amp, why can't they turn out the way you want? He said the same thing about the Super V speakers, "cool speakers, but not really what I was after".

This issue many times with signature gear is that big companies only see the profits and want to cut corners to save money, not that this is always true but pretty common.
But George was involved with he Peavey XXX and that fell through due to his deal with Genz Benz. Peavey wanted him to only use the Peavey Cab.
Then George and Peavey re-conciliated with the Brahma design, that also fell through. It is more commonly known as the Penta. Apparently George and Peavey had some issues they couldn't iron out with that amp.
But most of the time endorsement deals are not necessarily about the gear, but about the income they bring. I would pretty much bet that the majority of George's income comes from his endorsement deals. You have to eat when you don't sell millions of records.
Nothing wrong with endorsements at all, but you have to remember they are more about paying the bills than, that amps is the holy grail. Remember the video of Friedman modding George's Randall modules.
But when you get a company to do a signature amp, they have a schedule to get it to market and sometimes based on the agreement, you only have so much time to get it right.

Saw Dokken in 1982' Breakin the Chains tour at Mississippi nights in St. Louis it was about 10 degrees you had to walk outside from the green room to the stage at MN. George had no shirt and leather pant with studded suspenders. It was cold as shit that night.
One of the LOUDEST SHOWS EVER !!! Between the guitar and Wild Micks drums i had tinnitus for 2 days.
George was playing outta 3 Randall heads & 5 4x12's but Don Dokken played a Les Paul Custom and a Custom Star shaped Charvel so he must have been using at least one head/cab combo. Pilson had gotten a new Steinberger bass & wireless from Dan Martin at St. Charles Guitar Exchange and was climbing the walls !!!
George's Tiger Stryped Charvels were the coolest thing i ever saw, still envyous.
Couple years ago i learned that George's original Tiger was 13 lbs of solid maple body and it has caused him alot of back problems over the years. He doesn't play it much. The first few records were done with that guitar.
George auditioned and was passed over for Ozzys guitarist twice, once after Randy and before Gillis and 2nd time before Jake.
