I put a pair of Lynchbacks in my 2x12 about two months ago. They replaced a pair of Chinese V30's. I'm still on the fence with them. They're much darker than I expected. They don't sound like Greenbacks to me. They're more modern sounding. Smoother and less crunchy than Greenbacks (I'm referring to the GB reissues). They've got a huge bottom end, relaxed mids (not scooped), and a very dark top end. Last time I played them in a band setting I had to crank up my treble and presence to cut through like the V30's did. They sound good, just much darker in person than I thought they'd be. Honestly, if they were a tad brighter I'd love them. They're good speakers, don't get me wrong. I'm just so used to V30's at this point, I don't know if I'd like anything else over them, especially in a band setting. Also, keep in mind that Lynchbacks only come in 8 ohms. Hope this helps.

That's why I mix them with V30's

I just bought one to mix with V30 in 2x12 cab. I'm sure it's going to sound great

Thanks thegame, I've seen that video before, but not with guitar tracks alone.. cool. FLYINRYAN11, I went to Scumback website and listened to the m75 tracks, and am kinda torn now between the lynch and the m75 myself.. of course different amps, mics etc.. make a difference, the Lynch seems to be smoother compared to the m75, the m75 seems to have more crunch to it...

Same here. I've had the original video downloaded to my phone for the longest time, yet had idea the YouTube uploader also had one without the drum track.

Thanks for sharing thegame!

This is why I like the LB in a Vintage style Marshall, smooths the high end and has a mid / low end growl.

Well iv got two on the way to try in a 2x12 for my dsl100 which can be fairly bright. I'll see how it goes.
