Thanks. I can take pics of the back when I'm finished wiring it up. I have 4 or 5 more cables to make, and I'll probably do them sometime at night when I'm bored out of my mind.

Thanks guys. The rig is heavy as shit, so I definitely have to use wheels. Luckily, the case I bought for the pedalboard even has wheels, so it's real easy to lug around, assuming there are no stairs I gotta climb.
I'll work on getting clips within a few weeks. The main thing is trying to figure out this 8 string. I've been a 7 string player for 5+ years, but this low F# is a beast. Trying to make some music that utilizes it without having a ridiculous EQ is a challenge. The 808s are also kinda muddy, so it's not helping matters. Drop E makes it easier to use, but the barre chords kill my left hand, and I need at least an 80 for that tuning. The 74 is already kinda flabby on the 27'' scale in F#.

Very nice rig! quick question though, why did you go with the mosvalve compared to a standard all tube poweramp? prefer the sound outright? cost? weight? Never used a mosvalve so im not bashing it, just curious.

The MosValve was a gift from Pete Laramee from this very forum. Also, it's only used for wet effects, so it works pretty nice for that. The rig is a W/D rig.

Tom, congrats on all of the soldering paying off, i cant wait for youtoob clips once you get all the MIDI worked out. love how you're using MIDI to reference the whammy, thats an awsome idea. are you doing it through the gmII or using a standalone unit to set the min/max CC commands?

Thanks a ton guys. Still have to tidy up the power cords and solder 4 more wires. With the Whammy, it's just hooked up via MIDI. I hook up my one 6166 expression pedal to my GCP and set it to CC 11. 0 is heel down and 127 is heel up. With the remote setup like that, you don't have the treadle calibration issues that came sometimes occur. Patches on the Whammy can be changed with different PCs, and you turn it on/off with a CC. I won't be making any Youtube clips of it, but I'll try to get some clips in a few weeks.
Really, the effects portion of the rig is used with all of my amps (5150, EVH 5150 III, Mark III and JCM800). I just hook it up to my loop, and I'm good to go. I have a special cable for changing channels on the EVH 5150 III, hence why I got the RG-16. I never change channels on the 5150, so no MIDI is needed there. The Mark III switches between Rhythm 1 and Lead via the G-Major II. The Recto switches between Orange and Red via the G-Major II as well (G-Major II has a TRS jack, so I can do both via Y-cable). I might eventually bring out the effects only portion into its own rack, but I'm making due with what I have at the moment.
