Trying to make my Kemper rig even easier to transport

I prefer not having a 1x12 at all and simply relying on the PA, but I've run into trouble depending on the sound guy, so I need the 1x12 occasionally for stage volume/ vibe

the fact that it's compact is cool, (evm 12L loaded) but not on wheels is the problem.
I don't want to bring a dolly or cart...

Anyone try turning a 1x12 into a dolly? ...put wheels on it and maybe an expandable handle...like a suitcase on wheels.

Maybe crazy, just a thought.

That's what I thought, LOL

Before I even read the post. Time to rape a suitcase.

Extendable handle off the suitcase and attached to back of cab. Wheels on the back, rubber feet on the front. Like a dolly, but without the dolly. DONE.
I guarantee nobody will laugh at you as their veins are popping out of their temples as they lift and you roll.

Maybe get yourself one of these.

thanks guys, gonna look for a suitcase in storage this weekend ;)

by the way it's not that it's too heavy, I simply want to transport my rig in one trip rather than multiple trips
I miss everything being set up and on wheels in a giant rack..but I don't miss the giant rack

I can relate to this. I do some sideman gigs where I'm often walking a good distance carrying the gear from the parking lot to the venue and one trip is important.

I solved part of the problem by leaving the EVM12L equipped Boogie Thiele cab at home and taking a lighter open back Boogie 1x12 cab. I do really like the extendable handle on the cab idea though.
