Man, i miss the 70s

I just gave my dad a 10mg indica gummy. He did a half last night and still started to get violent with my mom. So we have them over for dinner on Tuesday nights and before he left I had mom give him a whole gummy.

I'm kinda seeing that the doctor is going to need to prescribe him something stronger. It's getting harder for her to take care of him. All they would do if we dumped him in a home somewhere is drug him up. She can do that herself and not have to give them her house.

Not sure if I mentioned dad has dementia. And yes I spend a couple days a week over there with him while my mom does what she needs to do. And I spend Thursday nights with him 8 months of the year so she can bowl in her league. 83 years old and she can still bowl and enjoys it.

So anyway, that happened. Hope a whole one wasn't too much for him.

Indica helps, but a heavy dose of cbd with it will definitely help keep them sedated for lack of a better term.

I hate ones with cbd lol

It started out we got some gummies that my sisters friend got. No idea what was in them. They did not help. So I got him some Indica ones my brother in law recommended based on my dad’s situation. At first 1/4 gummy and 10 minutes later he was happy. Last night she gave him half for the first time and at some point he had his hands on her throat. Now the old man is nearly crippled and I’m sure she would fuck him up if it came down to it, but she was scared and didn’t like it. So tonight she needed more gummies and they didn’t have the same ones. These are a different flavor and have CBD. Made by the same company though. We’ll know soon enough how the full gummy works.

I've had to deal with this as well, man it's not easy.
When the people who loved you and raised you, are now without faculty it's tough.
When they are looking you in the eyeballs and you can tell that they really don't know who you are was a gut punch for me

Yeah, I had to listen to him tell me what a great guy his son "Floyd" is.

Turns out a full gummy was too much. She says he's beating on the counters and all pissed off. So much for that plan. 😞
