I don't know if I totally agree with this statement. I mean I do own a Herbert, have had my Herbert now for 6+ years. Without a doubt Herbert (Mine ) is the most versatile and bad ass amp on the planet PERIOD!

However the VH4 is Papa's dream amp and the patriarch of all that is Diezel Amplification.

You should hear "Tip Toe Through the Tulips" on ch3 of Herbert with the gain maxed, vol at 3:00, treb maxed, mids maxed, bass maxed, int 12:00, level 12:00, MV1 12:00, pres maxed, deep maxed - F'n insane!

I play it all and it's all because of Herbert...now back to the uglies.

I borrowed a Herbert and liked it. Owned an Einstein and hated it, go figure. Seems all Diezel's are not created equal.

I played a VH4 once and liked it, low volumes though.

I was supposed to be, but the missus beat me to it- she slugged a bottle of wine then broke her hand while stacking it on the lawn chasing the dogs. Took her to the emergency department at the hospital and ended up staying there 3 days waiting for surgery.
