I thought the vintage modern was very anemic and weak sounding comopared to a black winter.
But I'm willing to try the asphalt next just to be sure. Not much info on them but I'd like to try one nonetheless.

Yes, I have. I have the goats growl hot P90s in a les Paul and they sound killer. I also had a PAF type that came in a guitar I bought a while back. I remembered liking those which is what led me to search out his P90s. When I ordered the P90s (maybe 5-7 years ago) the turnaround was fast and great communication.

I didn’t like the Asphalt. Had too much bottom end. I only like his neck pickups. I have three of them in my Charvel’s.
