So, I just got a mark iic+ that has everything except a graphic eq and it sounds amazing even without it, but sometimes I miss it. Is there any EQ-type pedal that can have the same effect as the graphic eq built into the mark series amps?

Eq pedal in the loop should do just fine.

Yep. The factory EQ is right before the effects loop.

When you say "everything" does it have simul and the export xformer? If it does you have one of Boogie's best. Enjoy that beast! And if you want to sell...well don't do it but give me a shout...

Yes it's simul and I think it does have the xformer. It really sounds amazing. Not just hype. That's why my mark iii and v combos are now for sale, but I'm still keeping the mark iii coliseum, which is also incredible. I don't plan on ever selling the iic+ or the coliseum. Maybe one day I'll find a mark iic+ coliseum!

Which eq pedal do you guys recommend?

I tested a lot with the EQ from the amp and an EQ in the loop, it's about the same. Try an MXR 10 Band, just keep in mind that it needs 18v.

Zachman has IIC+ - he probably has some great recommendations.

I'm actually surprised you have not utilized an EQ in the amps you have so far. Great tool.

MXR 10b you can't go wrong.
Dano F&C 7b for cheap works great.
Boss 7b would work as well.
Just get one :D

Isn't there a trick to running a Studio Pre in the loop as just the GEQ? I might be wrong about that.
