Mark V footswich question (midi)

No, that is a proprietary cable directly connect and RJM rg-16 to the back of the Mark V foottswitch input. The footswitch input on the Mark V isn't midi.

You'll need a RG-16, Rack Gizmo, Amp Gizmo, or Mini Amp Gizmo to use that. Recommended! RJM rocks.

Just picked up an amp gizmo. Definitely worth the money in a gcx based rig since I don't have to reconfigure the loops for different heads. I can perform all channel switching etc. Via MIDI with any head.

Already have a GCX and GCP though :aww:

With the GCX, the only way to do it is using the external switching jacks. Which would eat up a lot of the loops in the GCX and probably not something you want to use your GCX for. I would get a mini amp gizmo with that cable and control it via midi from there.
