Dave,

Replacing some tubes and rebiasing. Do you use standard 70% dissipation for EL34 or slightly higher?

tube watts / plate voltage x desired dissipation % = bias current

Please don't go by the formula. Anywhere it sounds good between 30 and 40 ma. I set it for 32 ma from the factory with a 120 v wall voltage. The plate voltage is about 470vdc
