OK. Just got a Kitchen Sink Modded Metro Amp 12xxx series. Got the new output transformer and a basic loop. I'm using a Radial Headbone to switch between the Marsha and my JMP.
At first, was getting an awful high pitched feedback whenever the loop on the Marsha was used. Did Some Internet research, and saw a post where you should put the higher gain amp in channel one on the Headbone, and if necessary, use the ground lift. Did this, and now I can use the two heads together with the Headbone. But; my rig is still more noisy (both amps) than it was before the Marsha entered the equation.

Before I got the Marsha, My Voodoo Modded '79 Marshall JMP MKII 50-watt MV was my main high gain amp, and a Metro 50-watt NMV '68 plexi clone was the 2nd amp (for cleans).

To further remedy this, I have since ordered an Ebtech 2-channel Hum Eliminator. My question is, where in the signal chain should it be placed for best results? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just throwing this out there for you to consider.....I don't think the Ebtech boxes are going to get you anywhere near what you need. You need good transformer isolation. Some people think have good results with the Radial gear....I didn't. If you throw down for a good switcher with better quality isolation, like a Lehle or an RJM Y-Not, you are going to be money ahead and leave the frustration behind. That Ebtech stuff is good for headphone jacks and what not, but is misrepresented when it comes to amps. It shouldn't matter which amp is plugged into direct and which is plugged to ISO out. The ISO amp just refers to which amp the ground is lifted on and which amp you assign phase reversal to on the speaker output. If you catch Dave in a good mood, he can make you an ISO splitter. If you want to run both amps on all the time and blended, the Lehle P-split is great. Good luck...

First of all what are all the components of the rig? Whats in the loop? Need to know these things to help.

PM'd this to you as well Dave...

Thanks Dave. OK, Here is my current setup:

Gtr--> RMC Wah--> Diamond Comp--> Sparkle Drive --> Retrosonic Chorus --> MXR Carbon Copy.
The signal leaves my pedal board using Pedal Snake (www.pedalsnake.com) into rackmount tuner --> Clinch FX EP-Pre --> MXR Smart Gate --> into direct input (not buffered) on the HeadBone. Speaker out of Marsha into a THD Hotplate into amp1 input on the HeadBone. Speaker out of JMP into a THD Hotplate into amp2 of the Headbone. Speaker out goes to a Marshall 1960A 4x12 cab.

The loop on the Marsha: send into MXR 10-band eq --> Guyatone Micro Delay --> TC Electronic Flasback Delay --> return to Marsha.

There is nothing in the loop of the JMP.
Wanting to use to Marsha for higher gain stuff, and the JMP for lower gain clean/pushed clean stuff.

I hear good things about these........

I understood you couldn't use the loop with the headbone. That's why when I bought one I sent it back.
