Randy's mom was in attendance. How awesome! If I had the cash I would without question have one of the RR Marshalls on order.

Dont dig the tone at all...never dug Randy's much...but the look of that thing alone is worth it...sharp as hell.

i'd like to see doug be ozzy's guitarist for a tour

Im pretty sure Doug and Zakk are friends, im surprised they havent jammed onstage together before!!

Nasty solid state tone...but an earlier vid I saw of the RR amp sounded better, so I think it's the camera mic making it sound bad.

Awesome playing, horrible tone. Pretty much RR to a T !
Sounds just like Randy's tone so I guess Marshall succeeded.

Is it blasphemy to say the Cameron CCV-100 and CCM-100 blow the tone of this amp away?

Doug said that before this, he played the amp cranked up in the sound booth and he said the tone was absolutely rippin.. but when he came out the soundbooth to do this he had to turn the amp waaaay down

They had a Power Brake on it too, which I don't care for.

I think his playing is sick, but the tone didn't blow me away. I saw the RR demo'd LOUD at NAMM walking around with Shea and his bass player. It was very tear your face off mids and even a little harsh on the highs, but sounded better than this clip anyways. The other channel is pretty much just straight JMP and sounds closer to what I'd want out of it. Shea liked that one better too by a long shot. One prob is that the speaker cabs are all GT75s, which I've never been a big fan of. They're not bad all things considered, but I'd prefer a v30/greenback/h30 over them, especially given that this amp is voiced pretty cutting as is.

That was my initial thought too. I wonder how much better this would sound with a Greenback cab or the Vintage Modern cab?? a LOT better i would imagine...

I hate the 75's big time... every single amp i ever owned sounded crap to my ears when played thru a cab with 75's. As soon as i would plug them into my Greenback cabs.. the tone would sound 100x better!

Well Doug is an nice honest shy guy and Zakk is a dumbass loudmouth with a captain caveman routine. I can't see them enjoying working with each other, but I could be wrong.

Doug can play circles around Zakk anyway as far as "class" goes. :)

Amen, Brother!!!
