I think it sounds bloated and terrible in that video.. that said, I know this amp sounds fantastic so I am not at all basing any opinions on that clip. Great idea to bring down the power but maintain the output valve section and character. Marshall is getting things right. If this is a success, who is to say they could not follow suit with a 20 watt superlead??

I'd take a used combo for the living room once they come up on the used market.

Where else are you going to get a combo that size using el34, with those features for less? A spawn street rod costs that much used. I think it could be a killer deal, and 20 el34 watts is definitely itely giggable.
