Marshall DSL50 - Drake Transformer?

I had a Marshall DSL50 with a Drake transformer in it, this was awhile ago. Does anyone know for certain which years the DSL's had Drake's in them? Thanks in advance!

the early production ... look for a 98 if you want to be sure... I thought the later ones with the bugs worked out sounded better imo

Yep, I look for one after about 2004. The older ones had the Drakes, but they also had headaches.

My 2000 DSL50 had drakes.
Should have kept that amp. Sounded great, no issues.
Haven’t heard a DSL sound that good since.
