Marshall Hopkins Pandora modded 1987x plexi reissue. I love this amp thru and thru but my gas for an early 80's 2203 has me stir crazy. I have no negative things to say about it. It rips! It's loaded with Mullard EL34's in the power section and JJ ECC83s's in the preamp. Tubes where replaced several months ago.
Here is the description from the previous owner with the details:
-1996 Marshall 1987x modded by David Hopkins with his popular "Pandora" mod. The amp has two inputs, high and low. High engages the extra tube gain stage. There is also a diode clipping Jose-mod-style switch on the back for extra gain and saturation. Effects loop is a Metropoulos lossless loop that is totally transparent. The master volume is excellent and great tones are available at bedroom "whisper" volumes. Original Drake transformers. Amp functions perfectly and sounds great!
