Marshall May Want To Seriously Consider...

I mean honestly what Marshall doesn’t understand that Jeremy, myself, Jason, Shea, and FourT do, is that just adding diodes to an amp doesn’t automatically make it sound like a badass high gain Marshall. You have to completely retune the whole amp dynamics to favor the diode clipping and balance with it and without it. If you favor without the diodes and just add them in with $30 and 30 minutes of work as Marshall has done here, then this is the result.

Just curious if you have seen the guts and can confirm this is the case, or if you are just assuming based on the tones here?

I’ve seen the guts. They were openly posted my Marshall and others can confirm as well. They’re basic mods at best any experienced hobbyist can do themselves. They’re more invasive than someone with no experience can tackle due to the various switching of the features and wiring layout to do it right.

I believe fluff is extremely talented in showcasing how amps really sound. Gibson really fucked up firing him for drama they created. Marshall just wants a cut of the modded pie but doesn’t understand what it takes to tune these amps to what players expect these days. This tone is absolutely not Fluff’s fault but Marshall’s.

Is that a hello kitty guitar? And why isn't he wearing safety glasses? It's like every reviewer either uses a 3sc strat or some oddball guitar in every demo so unless you play a old school strat you have no idea what your axe is even gonna sound like smh.

Honestly the Marshall JVM that I recently acquired for $1,100 not only has better tone, but is significantly more versatile than these "modified" amps. I think that it's a real shame in that Marshall could have just consulted with some of the current techs (mentioned in an above post) that know how to make standard Marshall heads sound and feel amazing....And made killer amps that may come close to justifying this exaggerated price point. This was a real missed opportunity for Marshall in my opinion.

just get a JCM 900 Model 2100 SL-X, with 5881's.

:D
Paired with the right hardwood flooring, the right leather pants, no shirt, and a pair of pit viper shades you can pretty much own anyone's tone unless a guy with a Wizzer shows up rocking the same outfit.

Granted I'm just listening on my iPhone but that might be the best tone I've heard from Fluff. Or at least more up my alley. Not bagging on him at all, it's just that I typically don't really like the tones he goes for in his vids.
I'll check it out through better speakers when I get home.
