Marshall Modified 100 watt 1959 sounding pretty good in this UK video...................

I think the problem is more that we expect these people & companies to capture & present a first class recorded tone that showcases what the amp is really like, and that's simply not the case. I don't think we'll know till guys start taking delivery.

I thought Fluff did a pretty good job.

I also think that Marshall does FAR better with factory demos than say... Mesa.

Mesa used to do GREAT demos. In the rock category. Not metal which a lot of people wanted. They used to have this guy do demos of their stuff, he had fancy looking boots and wore scarves and stuff I think. Anyway, whoever he was, I used to really dig his demos and tone.

Also, hated that Fluff demo.

Yeah, I´ve heard some good clips of this but the price point is an issue. A bit more than 1,5X the price of the handwired for some diodes and a master volume is a stretch.

Price is 700.00 more than HW. no where near 1.5 X the price. Still not cheap, but that seems pretty much right in line, considering.

Ryan is less on the Standard pitch harmonic majors and heavy on the drop C chugga chugga bug-in-a-rugga.
