These reissues are really good amps.
Probably the best value in the Marshall lineup. Well made, and a very cool biasing feature for the power tubes.
I've had mine since they first came out, so going on 10 years I guess.
A lot of amps have come and gone in 10 years, but the Jube is still here.

But where's da haunting midZ ... ? :checkthisout:
I remember when Marshall Bletchley was blowing them out for $900 bucks.

The Silver Jubilee amp is the only Marshall amp that still kinda interests me. I almost picked one up a couple of years ago for $1500 but talked myself out of it.

There was a used one on GC that had a black headshell where I thought it looked really cool with the chrome chassis but it didn’t hang around too long.

I got a new one back during the $999 blowout. I could only use it as a single channel amp with the way I dialed it in, so I sold it after a while. I had the matching 2x12 too. That was a killer sounding rig!

I also got one of those. I've owned five in total. Done with them, They are a siren song. Flame away.

sounds good indeed! I have owned an original 2553 since the early 90's, mine is also been modded with relay for making the rhythm clip footswitchable (y)

That sounds great.. I've always wanted one just because I think it is the coolest looking amp with the Silver tolex. They usually sound to dark to me on videos but not this one.

You have to dial it with the output Master dimed, then bring the lead master up to match the clean vol to have an equal vol 2 ch amp. IF you are gigging with it. I used to gig a vintage 2554 Jube combo through a 65 loaded slant for years in W Wisconsin. The amp sat next to the cab so no one saw it lol. Lots of questions on "what amp are you using?" lol.

I had a 2555x also, and it is very close to the OG amps. You can also bias those amps with ANY 2 pairs of octal power tubes you want...which is a very cool feature.

Same here, I've wanted one since 1987 when they came out because of the Silver Tolex and chrome faceplate.:p:yes:

I have to say that is the best clip of one that I've heard to date. Would it beat out my Cameron, Splawn and my plexis, I dunno........:dunno: They sure do look gorgeous.................
