Anybody have one? I thinking about buying this one which is local to me for the kids for Christmas. I figure it's good enough for them to bang around on their V while I try to show them a chord or two. Then maybe if one day they really get interested, we could hand-wire a real amp into the head case and find some sweet 10-inch speakers for the cabs.

So, I went by and played it. It's surprisingly awesome. It seems to be designed for playing pinch harmonics at bedroom levels. I wonder why. lol

Now to convince my wife that this is what my kids need.

Check out the Yamaha THR10 or the THR10X. Not as cool looking as a mini stack, but they sound really good for being so portable. The Orange Micro Terror sounds sweet too, but it's a bit more expensive. Would need a cab if you went that route though.

I have one, its ok for the price i paid. I havent used it in a while but should be just fine for what you want it for.
