DESCRIPTION:
Up for sale is this awesome Maruszczyk Instruments Elwood L 6a-24.
Anyone who has casually chatted about bass gear with me in recent years will already know that I'm currently a big fan of Polish brand Maruszczyk (and their sister brand Mensinger) due to the niche that they fill in today's boutique instrument market while also being widely available thanks to their German parent company Public Peace who distributes the instruments.
Maruszczyk offers pretty much anything that a player could want in a bass in terms of specs and features; and they somehow manage to do it all at fairly economical price points when compared against other brands. This particular Elwood L 6a-24 is actually a perfect epitome as it rocks so many idealized specs and design choices that cater to today's modern bass players who demand a lot out of their instrument. (Examples would be: a compact body, a modern neck profile, Nordstrand pickups, a Darkglass preamp, individual single-saddle bridge pieces, etc.)

• Top wood: eye poplar
• Body finish: gloss transparent green
• Scale length: 34" (864mm)
• Neck construction: bolt-on
