is one of my favorite albums of all time, and I have no problem admitting it  One of the best rock records of the 90's. They went downhill after Yourself or Someone Like You BIG TIME, but this album is incredible IMO.

I saw them on this tour along with a pre-popularity Maroon 5, and MB20 kicked ass.

I really like their first album as well.
YoSLY taught me how to sing  Literally. I was a little kid at the time, listening to the disk and signing along all day every day.

I'd LOVE to do a show and sing these songs live some day.

+1. It's a great album, for sure. Tons of solid hooks. I think it was too good, the ol' 'tough act to follow'/'sophomore jinx' syndrome really popped them good. Rob Thomas is the only man my wife would leave me for, it's a good thing he's gay. ;)

He's married to a very attractive woman AFAIK.

He did once speak out in favor of Same-Sex Marriage. Perhaps this is what you're thinking of?

  Good stuff.

I'd just use the fact that he hasn't written a good song since "Smooth" to pick on her.

I remember standing in a lobby one time and a guy from fucking Matchbox-20 comes in and him and Marty are talking and they know each other…and I’m thinking if you’re in Megadeth, how the fuck do you know MatchBox-20?. The reason that he knew that was because you know, that’s what he wanted to do.

i've been pretty much waiting for the 90s to come back since the 90s

matchbox 20 first album
third eye blind
wallflowers bringing down the horse
bush

Tonic's first two CD's are 90's faves of mine, and (flame suit on) the first Third Eye Blind disc.

MB20 first album was great. Very little after that was interesting. Seems like the classic thing where the singer gets too big for a band and ruins everything. And also Tonic and TEB were interesting. Dexter Freebish was around then too, had some interesting tracks. Brother Kane has a great CD, Wishpool. I have 3 tracks of that on my MP3 player.

I love Third Eye Blind. They're newest CD is awesome as well. Actually...I love all their albums. I just saw them live in concert last year or earlier this year...it was an AWESOME show.

Someone gave me Tonic's "Lemon Parade" as a birthday present when it first came out. Great album!

Brother Cane is one of my favorite bands too. Seeds is my other favorite 90's rock album.

Matchbox 20's first album is great. I saw them at my University live, free concert. They put on a good show.

This is now my favorite thread of all time thanks guys! I am NOT alone i see. :D
