I had a thing against MB20 when they first came out, because it wasn't a real "band", or so I read. I heard that Rob got signed, and they found the band members for him. I also heard he had a lot of professional songwriting help too. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...
Listening back now, I can appreciate the first MB20 cd a lot more now. And I really like the songs. Super catchy and some great tones too.
But for me, the first 3EB cd will always top it in tones, songs, and overall creativity. Kevin Cadogan's open tunings and chord voicings were genius.
