Matchless Hotbox Demo w/ Electro Harmonix 22...

Is it right to assume that if you pair the Matchless Hotbox with a Electro Harmonix 22, you have got your self a 2 channel amp in pedal form?
Then all you would need is a speaker cabinet to go with your pedal board, and you are ready to go?

The idea is highly appealing!

You can plug directly into the 22. It gets very crunchy up at 3/4's!

In a nutshell, you are right on. I have never used the 22 so I don't have a clue how it would pair up with the Hotbox. IMO, it ultimately depends on the type of tones you are looking for. On it's higher gain channel, the Hotbox still doesn't dish up a whole lot of gain...if you want heavy tones its probably not the best choice. It's clean channel may really add some sparkle to the 22 though...I'd be interesting in hearing those two units together.

I am not really looking for high gain, so I think it will suit my needs just fine.
I suppose it will cost a few bucks to find out eh...
