So I got my OD-808 today and thought I'd post a review. I'll be comparing it with my Dano Fish n Chips EQ. The first thing I noticed is that it wasn't as aggressive as the Dano. It was very smooth and pretty warm. The bypass is great and it works well as a smooth boost. It's also quieter than the Fish n Chips when boosting hi-gain channels. The Maxon is GREAT for lead tones and just sounds amazing with my Marshall in that sense. I highly recommend this pedal to everyone. However, my Fish n Chips won't be going anywhere anytime soon either.
