I much prefer the Regius to the Duvell. The duvell neck is a little flat and wide for me. Had a 28" regius baritone that was killer but it had a 20" radius so I sold it.

I might be the odd one out here but may sell my duvell and use the funds for a les paul custom. Fit and finish on the mayos are second to none though. Every one ive played and owned has been perfect.

I've had my Mayo Duvell Qatsi like 7-8 years. It's actually the first prototype built for that John Browne dude when they came out with it. Been my only player until recently acquiring a Skervesen Raptor on a trade. I liked the Raptor so much I grabbed a second. They edge out the Mayo in playability and fit-finish a bit.

I love my Gibsons and my Superstrats ..... but dam if every Mayones guitar I see doesn't scream to me that I need something on the " modern " side of things ...

anything bad about these beasts I should know about ...

cause I've got my eye on a Duvell Elite 6

Skervesen are more expensive than a Duvell... They are also a pain to deal with. I recently tried ordering a custom shop Skervesen and gave up out of frustration and ordered a Mayo. The way they (Skerv) communicates leaves a lot to be desired. They lost two sales from me just because of their bad attitude.

I will forever preach about my Lacello, which has a Duvell Elite vibe.
