Diezel would.

And I don't see a VH4 x-change transformer on their website.

Well, if MM made a x-fomer after the original specs of the (original) Langer transformer (say for guys who need a quick replacement), why not. But then it would be (just guessing here) easier and cheaper just to ask Peter for the original instead.

hey thanx 4 the reply ,
yeh if you look under 'miscellaneous guitar amplifiers' the one with felix the cat walkin back n forth , then ten down.
cheers arno

Found it, thanks.

@ Peter: please order one and measure/play it :D

This is of course a great company.

We design the transformers since 18 years by ourselves and
there is no "upgrade" to get a better performance.

I had a winding machine by myself in the past and the newer transformers
are designed by myself and Graham Sopp. His father was
the designer at Dagnall in the 60s and 70s when Marshall came up.

We also can deliver with red steelcaps ... they should sound great ;)

hey doc diezel.
red steecaps would complete me. i could go into anti retraction def com 666 mode [would add a few inches fo sho],thats all i was after really you must have red my fragile eggshell mind.
now all i gotta do is convince u that a vh4 red face would be safe in the hands of a artist wit issues.[i wouldnt abuse such power, trust me]
cheers arno

I can´t dig it!

How could a company xy produce "better" transformers than Diezel? It´s ok if you take a look at those shitty trannies Marshall uses....but not Diezel. The heaviest parts in a Diezel amp!

Want to make it lighter perhaps?
