I love how these guys just boost some Marshalls and throw together such fat, catchy riffs and get such an aggressive edge to their tone. Nothing magical, just meat and potatoes. Some of my favorite tones ever.

Both his bands kick so much ass and the music stayed really really good for a long time! King has a ton of records between those two bands. Different veins with KD having the better leads ( until Wead jumped on board for both bands) but MF really having the chunky groovy riffs. King Diamond fucking rules, legend.
