Hi
I snatched a Pre 500 Rev D a while ago and thought it was time to make clips.
Recorded at very low volume!

I do like the amp a lot ;)

Best Regards,
Simon

Brutal as hell. I only rectifier I have owned is my tremoverb and I love it, but this is definitely a little more brutal.

What was your signal chain?

Edit for typo.

Signal Chain: ESP V-II - Boss NS 2 - Maxon OD820 - Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Pre 500 Rev D (TAD 12ax7a-c/TAD EL34B-STR), (Bold/Silicone), Original (first series/ leather wrapper)) Mesa Boogie Rectifier 4x12 Slant, Shure Sm57, Prism Sound Lyra (mic-pre set to 50db), normalized in DAW, exported as wav, normalized in the video program and exported as mpeg-4 with AAC audio.

Rev D is my favorite revision of the 2 channel rectos, sounds killer!!

Thanks! That's really good to know!

I heard a clip of one modded for KT88's that was massive AF. I will stick to my EL34's though, I hate working on mesas.

I think i will use the Rev D (EL34) for recording and the Rev F with 6L6's in the rehearsal room on top of the original Rectifier (leather wrapper) Cab and sell the rest of the crap i have. Sounds like a good idea to me :D
...but we'll see...

Here's another one. Unqualified and random noodling (like almost always), mostly for personal reference.
