Dang, looks like I pre-ordered from the wrong place! Hopefully Sweetwater gets stock soon as well. Grats to those folks getting theirs soon! :)

Maybe I can get somebody who's not so camera shy to bang out a few chords on it when it gets here.
I'm all the way in Ohio so I won't see it until Thursday.

Who'd have thought the Mesa factory store would get them first?
Joking aside, the Mesa store only sells Mesa amps and has a full-time tech for any warranty issues.
My only stop for all things Mesa.
They threw up a quick in-store demo of the JP-2C this week.

Has anyone tried one of these yet?

A guy on The Boogie Board has and says it measures up:

"I played one of these today in hollywood. I've been playing C+'s for 10 years.

This thing is legit, with more features on tap. It sounds good at low volumes, but great at higher volumes, like really great. Guys who know and have played C+'s in the past will find it hard to snub this one...I'm sure one can find minute differences, compare voltages and all this kind of stuff, but I had a hard time doing so..."

Very cool. Just like all killer amps including my C+, good at low vol but great loud. Good to hear!

I wish I could give my impression, but since a self-proclaimed IIC+ expert said I don't know anything because I haven't owned more than one, I guess I better just not say anything. You have to be part of a cult to have an opinion on these.

If you go to this post, you will see he owns a bunch of original/upgraded 2C+'s. He's been a member of that group a long time, read a lot of posts by him before I found my own 2C. I trust his opinion. Sounds like a winner to me.

It's just metrics, owning a model/configuration the least number of people are interested in (as an example) is just that and nothing else. Doesn't discount ones opinion on the particular model they own.

If I'm interested in a particular amp model I usually gravitate towards the high volume flippers/collectors/etc who have had the most iterations/variations of the amp in question for a more even "spread" on the take of it...imo.
