Had a few Marks....III's and IV's....
and love that RAZOR EDGE they have the stock recto cant touch.
But grab a cheap stock Dual....(three channel)...and ship it to FJA to mod...
and its like a cross between the Mark Tone and the Recto Brutal.

Love all your clips and your keeping the tones true to the tone of the amp.
But just for shits and giggles....go for a FJA modded dual. You will thank me later.
Best of both worlds of the MARK and Recto amps. Not sure what he does .....but man its SMOKING HOT!

Not sure man.....but after I got everything dialed in good....with the slight od in front....and the Graphic EQ in the loop....
its the most CRUSHING tone I have ever heard in person from any amp.
Your clips sound so killer though. Wish I could record like that.

I made the switch last year after 7+ years of Recto use and I'm glad to this day that I did. I love both amps and owning both would be killer, but for me, if I have to own one it's the Mark.

Sounds killer man! I love my mark4. I've always liked their mids and tightness. everytime I've tried a recto it's been mushy, but never had a lot of time to play around with them, so... meh

cool, what are your settings like? Since I've never used a boost (might look into a maxon808), I've always had the lead channel's drive and gain both pulled and around 7.5 - 8.
