Dear Dave,

I would like to ask your help.

I have a Mesa Boogie Single Rectifier Head. I use some pedals and the head with a GCX Switching System. I just put them together and the dirty channel is so noisy. I have a Boss Ns2, an ISP Decimator (pedal) and an Ebtech Hum eliminator. I use the Ebtech between the wireless and the GCX and I use the ISP in fron of my booster, an MXR Wylde Ovrdrive. Please help me, how I eliminate the noise with these stuff. Can I do it with them, or I need something more?

Thanx!

there should be another iso before the amp. But hard to say unless I know all your gear.

Dear Dave,

I would be glad if you gave me advise, how you would put my stuff together.

I have a Mesa Single Rectifier head and a 4x12 Recto cabinet. The pedals are an EH Phase (an old one), EH Small Clone, Behringer Harmonizer, MXR Wylde Overdrive, ISP Decimator, Boss NS2 (all pedals power by a Vodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus). The rack gear is a TC G-major, an Alesis 3630 Compressor/Gate, an Alesis MEQ 2x30 band EQ and the GCX Switching system (the rack unit and the Ground Control Pro). And I also use an Audio Technika Wireless and an Ebtech Hum Eliminator.

Thank you for your help!

Open up the FCC and you will see a screw holding the ground wire. If you unscrew this, take the wire and wrap it in some insulating tape, screw the screw back in but not with the wire attached, this should fix the noise. Worked with mines anyway.
