I dig the OCD Phil, love how it reacts to rolling off the guitar's volume to.

Did another quick clip, just quickly going through the amp's gain modes with an OCD pedal on at times...

That's much more up my alley. Seems like the pedal tightens up a bit. I really like the tones you're getting there. The OCD sounds like a great match with that amp.
The OCD is a great pedal...it's one of those pedals that is hyped a bit, but it should be IMO. With that switch that leaves is flat or rolls off bass, it's very versatile. Rolling back the guitar's volume with this pedal is magic... it cleans up really well, you get a really nice lower gain tone that doesn't get too dark and has a great tube-like feel.

I played an outdoor show today with the Electra Dyne on a pretty large stage and had the amp a good 10 - 12 feet behind me...and no kidding, it was the best tone I've ever had live. Great great amp!
Hearing it with the band and the drums, the voicing of this amp is just right.
This little combo sounds big! The next band going on after us had Marshall's and 4x12's, both guitarists were watching us and commented on how good the amp sounded and the one guy said he's never been a Mesa fan but he is going to buy an Electra Dyne. :D

I forgot to ask, when are you and Scott Wieland going to write some tunes together? :D

I thought those riffs sounded kind of like King's X.

My dream gig would be to write with Scott Wieland, Ozzy Osborne or Alice Cooper...I like the darker/moody type stuff. :D

Just wanted to post a pic of a new pedalboard...doesn't look like much, but it's a pretty versatile rig.
Bought a Pedaltrain board. it's all wired up cleanly and it's powered with a Pedal Power 2 plus...it powers everything...all the pedals and as well as the Nova System...just need to plug in one power cable and go.

- X2 digital wireless
- Budda Budwah
- MXR Phase 90
- Fulltone OCD
- Electra Dyne channel switcher
- TC Electronic Nova System with G-Switch (placed in the effects loop)

Thanks man! If you like the sound of the clips you'll probably like the amp. it's not totally Marshall sounding, but it's a cool flavor...a Marshall Boogie.

I think it sounds more like an Orange.

That's interesting, I've never played an Orange, but for what I've heard from it, it sounds like a thicker, grainier, gainier Marshall...like a Marshall Boogie. :D

Interesting indeed. Same as you, I've never tried an Orange but heard them live and I thought it sounded very good.
