So I bought a Mesa Rectifier Recording preamp recently because the price was too good to pass up and my 2:90 was getting lonely since I can't get my Triaxis repaired for the life of me.

There's a signature on the back near the preamp tubes. Anybody knows who that is ? A guy from Mesa ? I already have a "Rosemary" 2203. Now I have a "Qalmaci" (?) Mesa...

Holy shit man. Antonio Dalmaci was the finest QC man since Bendenelli. 5k in this market easy. Nobody before or since has performed a QC check the way Mr. Dalmaci did. Absolute legend. There’s a statue of him out front of the Mesa HQ.

My 2012 Roadster has the same name. I think that name has been on every Mesa I ever owned (or at least something that started with a "D"), and that's a few over the years. Dude must QC a LOT of amps, he probably deserves that statue. I wonder if the statue shows his hand all cramped up. :ROFLMAO:

Was just on the outside of the Mesa headquarters in Petaluma two years ago and there was no statue LOL
Maybe I should send him my Triaxis for repair. Noone seems to be able to do it in Europe...

What I want to know is why is the Mark V and Mark VII rated at 90 watts but the IIC+ reissue only rated 75 watts? They are all wired Pentode and simulclass. Why is there that 15 watt difference?
