Mesa experts ?

So I bought a Mesa Rectifier Recording preamp recently because the price was too good to pass up and my 2:90 was getting lonely since I can't get my Triaxis repaired for the life of me.

There's a signature on the back near the preamp tubes. Anybody knows who that is ? A guy from Mesa ? I already have a "Rosemary" 2203. Now I have a "Qalmaci" (?) Mesa...

Holy shit man. Antonio Dalmaci was the finest QC man since Bendenelli. 5k in this market easy. Nobody before or since has performed a QC check the way Mr. Dalmaci did. Absolute legend. There’s a statue of him out front of the Mesa HQ.

My 2012 Roadster has the same name. I think that name has been on every Mesa I ever owned (or at least something that started with a "D"), and that's a few over the years. Dude must QC a LOT of amps, he probably deserves that statue. I wonder if the statue shows his hand all cramped up.

Was just on the outside of the Mesa headquarters in Petaluma two years ago and there was no statue LOL
Maybe I should send him my Triaxis for repair. Noone seems to be able to do it in Europe...

What I want to know is why is the Mark V and Mark VII rated at 90 watts but the IIC+ reissue only rated 75 watts? They are all wired Pentode and simulclass. Why is there that 15 watt difference?
