Interested in the Flux Five and the Eq pedal. Any opinions/impressions. Of course there is Fortin's new pedal which has my curiosity as well. I already use my Route 808 as a boost and have always liked it. It sounds good with my Randall Thrasher and my 5150 III 50. Anyway appreciate any experienced input...I always liked the 5 band on the Mark II/III's I used to own back in the day.

Just watched the Mesa 5 band eq video....sounds pretty meh.....and fizzy...

The only one that really interests me is their EQ pedal. The other pedals on the market focus on on different frequencies, but Mesa's focuses on the exact same ranges as the EQs on the Mark series, which is the thing that sets it apart from all the others. That and it's built like a tank.

I haven't had much time with all their pedals, so I won't give my opinion yet, but I like the parameters of the EQ Pedal.

I'd like to know the Q ranges of the frequency bands in that pedal.

Whereas I don't have a flux five I do have a flux drive, and I have to say in my personal experience playing through a Rectoverb 25 and Roadster combo the pedal can sound quite "Voxy" at lower levels. It has a midrange honk to it that seems to vanish as volume of the amp increases. I don't use it at all at low levels but love it at higher levels.

I love my Flux Drive. It has that fluid, liquid lead type quality that I could never get out of a TS9 or variant. I bought the pedal 6 months ago and I love it with my 5153 Stealth ( I like the boost feel....its not for gain).

Good to know

I had a tone burst. I wish I did not get rid of it.
