I'm in serious love with my RevF Recto....all those new 3 channel models can suck it!
Wanna hear why?

Here you go (bear in mind, that this is not a decent mix yet, there's no bass guitar etc):

I agree, I'm loving my "pre 500" modded 2 ch Triple! :inlove:
It's so brutal now!

Kick ass video as always!

What were your settings? Did you boost it? I loved my old 2channel recto. I wanna get another to run stereo with my marshall

Settings were something like
Master: 9:00
Pres: 10:00-11:00
Bass: 11:30-12:00
Mid: 10:00-11:00
Treb: 11:30
Gain: 12:00

Boosted with od808 drive:9:00 tone: 10:00 level:12:00

If you like it now, try it with a pair of KT88's and a pair of KT66's. My rev F hasn't gotten much play time lately, because I've been tearing it up on my Rev C! :D

But seriously, I think people blow the differences between the revisions way out of proportion. My rev C and rev F are really not much different from one another. My buddy brought over his early 2000's 3ch Triple rectifier, and outside of maybe having a touch more sizzle to it, it is just as tight.

Nice. Real close to my old settings, cept i used more mids(1to2 o'clock), and less treb(9 o'clock), and and raised the prez to make up for the low treb... Same boost and everything. I miss that critter

So my three channel Triple sucks? I thought it crushed.
Ok I'll put it up for sale and get a real amp. ;)

By the way, the vid sounds great. Like to hear it with bass.

I own 3 2ch recs, RevG with Schumacher trannies, RevG rackto with mercury trannies, revf (this one), I've owned several later 2ch RevG with the newer trannies, as well as a 3 ch Rev.
I gotta say the differences between all of them are quite significant, especially between the revf and the 3ch RevG...almost like an entirely different amp imo

The 3ch recs still kick ass though....just not as much as this one:)
