Hey everyone. I just got done posting some clips on sound cloud. They are just me tooling around with the factory settings from the manual.

If my guitar sounds slightly off (ever so slightly), give me a break -- the Northeast is mad humid!

It's cool to say whatever ... have at it! I am just trying to get a feel for this amp.

I haven't seen these amps in any of the Guitar Center's yet and i want to try one.

I have went through two of these so far. My first one was destroyed by UPS. Mesa's customer service is excellent though and they pushed me to the front of the list. I got my replacement custom combo in 15 days. And I live in Massachusetts!

There are certainly some interesting tones in that amp. I don't know that it fits on my "must have" list, but I can see it working for a lot of things. The clip labeled "Tight Crunch" has a really strong Cranberries "Zombie" vibe to it. Cool stuff...

Sounds good. Thanks for the clips. My taste lies in the more compressed gain zone but good sounding clips. I suspect it would sit well in a live context and would be extremely versatile with just a few pedals.

I was holding out for one of these amps for the longest time. Then I saw the Haggerty's music review vids and was really kinda dis-appointed. I really don't like the crunch sound of this amp at all. I'll take my Mark III, and never sell it! Just not the sound I was hoping for I guess. Still looks Like a great amp though. I just picked up a Fryette Sigx and I gotta say I'm friggin lovin it!

 Great looking amp! Nice color combo!. I played one of these last week at GC in a head & 4x12 version, must have played it for an hour with a Tele, this is a great amp with a lot of diff tones available, my next Boogie purchase!

I thought Barney Rubble got it sounding pretty good.

I saw a royal atlantic 1/2 stack at the GC on rt4 in paramus or the GC on rt 22 in springfield. I cant remember which one of the 2 locations I had seen it. It was in what was a tech room but it was emptied out except for a few amps including this one all setup and ready to play.

They don't have a tech room in Springfield so it has to be Paramus.

Sounds pretty cool. Has a nice Brit vibe but retains that hard Mesa raunch. I'd like to try one too.

Yeah, I didn't like Haggerty's clips at all. His clean was fine, but he put way too much treble in most of his red channel clips. Very disappointing sound to my ears. I'll get some better clips coming soon.

If you want compressed and smooth, this isn't the amp for you. It has some nice crunch that opens up a lot on the blue channel. I'll do some more clips of the amp tomorrow.

I recorded everything through my Silent Sister with a G12-T75 speaker. I would've used the amp's mix of a V-30 ad C-90, but I don't have the right type of room to get a good sound from. With the Silent Sister, everything just sounds relatively good.

oo yes, you are absolutely right. the tech room is at the end of the wall of fenders and gibsons there and that is exactly where it was when i saw it.

Doesn't if look sort of like it is covered in the pigskin they use on a football. It really blends nicely with SG, Strat, and ES 339.

Hmm....I'm digging Barney's tone in that vid

I went and played the RA 100 half stack today. I liked it more than probably any other mesa I have played.

I really am loving my RA. It's tough though and I hate to keep writing that. I mean, if I hated it, I wouldn't be going on and on about the amp! Total honeymooner at the moment ...

Just another thing i noticed was the amp did not need alot of tweaking to get going. I dont think i had the eq set outside of 11 or 1 oclock
