I am sure you know the specifics. What was the budget? Was money spent upgrading some other thing?

I am sure you never had a house built.
I actually worked on the Chicago Trump Hotel project for 9 months in 2007 and that job was notorious for cutting corners to save a buck.
I also saw three large contractors walk off the job because that scumbag shyster whom you worship wouldn’t pay them.
He’s known industry wide for being a treacherous scumbag. Who TF doesn’t already know this FFS?

On that point, have you tried an EVH 5150lll 50 or 100 watt?

Just as good as the big boys, 1/4 the price.

I have tried recently one of the 100 watt 5150 heads at GC. I was surprised how much I liked it. Very thick and fat tone with high gain that sounded different than my other amps.

So, you were part of the budget planning? If not STFU.

You are just a low level grunt that has no idea what was planned for how much and by whom.

It's a very extensive process where every customer wants the best product within the budget.

If you ever hired a contractor to build you a home or building you would understand but knowing the broke low life you are, you never will.

BAD and Mesa have tons of new shit coming out and seem to be able to sell everything they can make.

It's almost as if business is Darwinian...

Obviously, I'm glad to hear this. I just wonder if both of them will have to relocate to another state in the future.

I know this thread is not focused on health and do not wish to derail too much but will say that statins are terrible for you and should never be taken as they cause A LOT of other problems in the body including dementia.

Not a big Joe Rogan fan or anything but this is a good guest explaining how cholesterol is misunderstood, and how statins are not as effective as people believe.

I read a book years ago from a heart surgeon that gave this info.

If you take 1200 IUs of vitamin E (400 IUs 3 times a day) you will prevent your arteries from clogging. If you add 3000mg a day of vitamin C (1000 mg 3 times a day) with the vitamin E, you will unclog arteries that already blocked. I know most will not believe it, but if you take these correctly then cholesterol is mostly unimportant.

My grandfather had a heart attack several years back. One of his arteries was 95% clogged. He started taking the E and C combo and after his next checkup one year later, that artery was only 15% blocked.

My father has also been taking vitamin E since he was young for chest pains when drinking coffee or caffeine. He got a scan done when my grandpa did and they said on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being no blockage, he was a 1. He was 60 at the time and has done very little cardio throughout his life, just rides a bike every once in awhile and eats typical country style home-cooked meals not focused on health food.

AND before completion of the building, a number of condos were sold under contract, only for that scumbag to tear up said contracts, then relist the units at much higher prices.
You’ll likely dismiss this as being a savvy capitalist…

Oooohhh, he's the devil I tell ya.

How many condos has Obamar or Briben built?

Think some of you suffer from TDS. Trump is responsible for this guy not knowing how to run a business?
I couldn't get rid of the Super Bass fast enough. If I played bass maybe I would have liked it better.
Because a President’s policies don’t affect the economy and small businesses…Got it 👍🏻

This is the part that stands out to me. It is a sign of how things are changing. Same thing with the death of the CD and the rise of streaming. People have predicted the death of tubes for years, but is now REALLY the time?
Yes. HCAF SS Posse has finally taken over the horizontal and the vertical. This day has been coming. The final divergence. The tube (the organic) The Digital (the synthetic) and the synthesis (SS crystalization). I have been consulting with a few Malaysian designers for years, working back and forth. When my hope is realized...the 160w 2 channel Crystalline Entity amp will be available worldwide. This is only a glimpse into the magic of what is to come.

More like not knowing how to run a business.
That Super Bass was the most expensive paperweight I ever owned.
He’s been in business for 25 years.
Do you have any idea how difficult it must’ve been to survive 25 years selling boutique guitar amps?
He’s had 5 orders since Labor Day and anybody who’s head is not firmly planted up their own ass knows the gear market has been dead af for quite awhile now.
But sure, he suddenly forgot how to run his business…

Outside of his own health concerns which is enough of a reason in and of itself, I honestly think Covid did him in business wise. He was great up to that point and that is when parts skyrocketed in price and never came back down even when inventory leveled off. Add tariffs to parts and it ate into his profit margin.

I also think Jason Tong has a direct impact. The do it yourself business model for modded plexi amps brought the hotrod platform to everyone wanting to save money. Competition has really hurt him - add modelers and it hurts even more.

I work on every union and non union major construction project in Massachusetts. Every single one of them is incentivized top to bottom to save a buck. Being a mason tender in Chicago for a few months does not make you an expert on Trump's ethics.
