I watched a bunch of videos today of this amp. Anyone own one/play one?

Haven't played one but the vids sound phenominal throughout the tone range. Really seems to be a complete amp. Great cleans, crunch and high gain tones.

the price is also competitive, considering everything you mentioned

I played it for about 15 minutes, very cool amp. It's setup a little like the Electra Dyne but the an independant clean channel. It's got more gain and is a little brighter than the Electra Dyne and is much more volume friendly, but it had less bottom than the Dyne, but most amps do.

It sure is very very different from the Mark series and Rectos.

This is a amp I am interested in .... it looks very interesting.

I played one at the Dallas guitar show a few months back. Great amp. Could get some good rawnchy higher gain tones while still having amazing mid gain and clean sounds. I like how its more of an upper mids based amp.

Great sounding amp. I played a 1/2 stack several months ago. Very versatile, and VERY easy to dial in. All the knobs were basically at noon and had a great tone to it. The built in attenuation worked great also.

Played one for a bit in a store and really dug it. Great clean and great drive and had a great feel to it. Killer amp. I tried this after demoing, the mini recto and they didn't even compare to me

I have played one. Sounded great! I am good with my Cams and Frieds though...But, Man!!! If I was in the market for a new amp with 2K burning a hole in my pocket, this would be a sure pick for me!! The best Mesa Boogie I have ever played through....including my old Mark 1!!

i have one and love it
it has a revrb input jack for switching hidden in the back of the head, I found it when I put some sed's in mine and changed out the pres.
Of course for 1800.00 id sell mine shipped cuz thats how i roll..Id also throw in a new set of mesa 6l6gc Ive yet to try..

I listened to the new lamb of god ghost walking that was supposedly recorded with royal Atlantic if so the guitar tones rule. I hate the singing but this guy is a great guitarist. I have to play this head. I thought they made a royal Atlantic 4x12 to match like I saw on the namm video but nothing on their web site. Anyone?

I feel like hucking my stiletto ACE 212 off a building after watching that vid...............

I think this is a classy amp... Kinda understated and so far, underrated. I'm not into getting one, as my tonez don't rest with Mesa, but this is a solid amp and I think there's gonna be a lot of one-amp cats (not the kinda folk we have 'round these parts, ahem) aiming to own this head. Seemingly does a lot, and I bet it takes stomps well too.

Thanks for the vids

Yeah, the Royal Atlantic and Electra Dyne both sound a lot better to me that the Stiletto's. The Ace and Duece Stiletto do have a LOT of cut though, but they're wierd amps that can sound both harsh and muddy at the same time. The Royal and Electra Dyne are hard amps to dial in to sound bad which is a total change for Mesa.

Read somewhere that Mark Morton from LOG, has moved from the mark V to this amp.
