Hey guys!
I decided to stick with a two channel head although I am researching the Framus as well. I decided to stick with an amp that meshes or sits well with our band. The other guitarist plays a Line 6 POD XT Live using Mesa Boogie and Diezel type, mid scooped Recto tones through an Atomic 212 with 6L6 tubes. I use a Hughes & Kettner Switchblade going for more mids and more british flavors. I am looking for another amp, alternative rig, all tube. All of these amps and even the Cobra from what I have read lean more toward british tones with more midrange, although I know the Cobra is aggressive.
I am only afraid the Duotone will not get as aggressive as my Switchblade, hence my looking at the Stiletto Duece II and Cobra.
Sparkling cleans are essential! How are they on the Stiletto? I am calling around to see if I can find one to demo!
Thoughts on which may mesh well with those tones?
