I was just thinking the same thing. I like a Mark Series slaves into a Marshall. Wonder what this would sound like....I'm sure it's nothing like a traditional Mark series sound by any means.

Definitely so.


I should have tried running a MarkIV's preamp into a Recto poweramp and the Recto's preamp into the MarkIV's poweramp, when I had the chance. Run 'em in stereo. The Simul-Class & EQ would tighten up the Recto sound, and the Recto poweramp would open up the MarkIV's sound so it gets even bigger.

Maybe instead do that with a MarkIII Coliseum with the 180 watt poweramp? Is it 180 watts?
