Mesa Thiele cabs?

Any experience with these? Looking at putting together a mini rig for home and friend jams.....thinking about pairing it up with the little Randall RD5H. Good idea, bad idea? I don't know enough about speakers to just jump without some advice...pretty sure they have a C90 in em.

I recently got a rivera q212 cab...2 thiele cabs in 1. I realize they are not the same but if it is anything similar, it should sound stellar for either home or even stage use.

They're great for a 1x12. Some are loaded with MC90's and some with the 200 watt EVM.

Just had a weird sound compared to my Recto 2x12 or Fryette 2x12. Just seemed like it had a weird sound in the frequency range...too much or too little of something. Hard for me to remember now, but I just didn't like it with any of my amps. It sounded pretty good combined with my Mesa 1x12 combo I had at the time, but by itself it was just weird to me.

I like using 2 as well for the most part - a little mini stack - but can dial in great tones with 1. If I use 2 I have different speakers in them. My favorite pairing is an EVM BL and an EVM Alnico SRO. One gives me the thump and one gives me a little speaker flavor.
