Metallica's new festival: ORION MUSIC

metallica is my favorite band ever and with the Beatles are the most important i think ever....but why would anyone want to hear them live now....his voice is shot ,kirk even sounds better on the rythyms live than james does(!!!!!!!)listen close that is a true statement.....its just sad....although i do enjoy some of the newer recordings i cant think of a band that butchers their classic material worse than them :thumbsdown:
 
Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold are the only metal bands on the bill. WTF it is all hipster shit. You can have it.

James played a handful of solos on their older material (Orion, MOP 1st solo). They were great, emotive, very melodic. Now, Kirk plays James' leads live in concert.

WTF ?!?!?

I thought it was bad when Jannick Gerrs plays Adrian Smith's leads in IM. This tops it :doh:
 
Yet another milestone in the litany of Metallica fails. That lineup is universally risible.

This was filmed at Metallica HQ. They set up in front of James and Robert's rig with a black material back drop. On the other side of the wall, camera's back, is where Kirk's rig and Lars is set up. That whole back wall has the original Ride the Lighting banner hung up, wicked cool :yes:

This. Those are the only two bands worth seeing.
 
Those are just partial lineup. More bands to be announced.
 
I would bet Lars is the dick who wanted these hipster douchebag bands on the bill. Maybe I can chuck some beer bottles! I am gonna try to see the night with ride the lightning, it'smy favorite record by them.
