This is my last for awhile since I'm going back to work in my studio. I hope I don't make anyone angry. I'm just trying to show how some amps sounds in different situations and if someone can give me some tips to improove my sound or my playing, you opinions are welcome.I used my 64 Strat, a Metro Plexi 50 watt amp with NOS Mullards EL34 cranked to 8 with a Aracom Attenuator. Marshall 1960B with Scumback H75 speakers. For mics I use a Shure 57, Royer 121 and for ambience a Neumann 87. I use a Chandler Limited TG2, SSL compresor and EQ from my SSL X Rack.https://soundcloud.com/eljodon/hellicra ... rx150drg-1

Got no tips to improve anything for you. That's a magic tone. Great playing.

Sounds incredible. Awesome playing too. I'm a big fan of ambient miking, you like did here.

Perfect tone and killer playing! Well done and enjoyed.

Sounds great

Thanks! Ambient mic works great for Blues stuff. I just purchased the Royer 121about 6 month ago and I love the Mic, the midrange is great and a good mic to mix with the Shure 57 which is bright. The way I get around phase issues, I record a couple staccato hits on the guitar and zoom on the waveform from bothe mic to make sure they match. I move the mic back and forth until the waveform lined up. The sound sounds thicker once the mics are in phase.

Mr Rock God!! Thank you, and thanks for defending me about posting too many stuff. I was shock to see that someone would get pissed about it. I can take apart my computers, build my own guitars and wired my entire studio myself, but when it comes to the internet ,I'm a total idiot! I didn't realize that I could post multiple stuff! But I think that dude could've just told me nicely and now the thread has over 60 replies! It wasn't my intention to cause so much pain and suffering! LOL.

Can we see some pictures of your studio? How about a video tour? This last clip was awesome and i have to say, so much better than the Axe FX clips.

Sounds great man and smoking playing! Come back when you get some time and post more clips but this time post about 6 different threads of Kemper clips. It'll be fun to watch some heads explode. :D

All kidding aside thanks for posting the clips.... I enjoyed listening to you play.

It's the internet. Don't worry about it. He'll get over it.

I'm curious what you think about the Aracom?

Loved the tone and playing!!!! These days for me, it just doesnt get any better than Strats and Marshalls and that was an AWESOME example of just how perfect that combo is...

Don't let the haters get you down man! I (and most others it seems) love your contributions to rig-talk. You have great playing and good tone... what else is needed, except for maybe a few crazy Mark Day facial expressions? I think that most everyone can learn at least a little bit from what you are doing.

Personally, I look forward to your next clips! As per that other stupid thread, I personally don't give a rats ass that there is a separate clip per post. :)
