I thought the standard RI hung in there pretty well, but I'd like a quad of those 67s.

Those 67s really sounded great. Also the m75's were sounding good too!

ASW had a lot of midrange honk and seemed more muffled.

Yeah, I didn't like the ASW at all. And I didn't think the Scumback was any better than the reissue Greenback.

'67 had a slight edge IMO, but that's judging from an iPhone speaker:)

FWIW. I know I'm a Scumback fan boy but I've played BM75's and M75's next to my old (well broken in) Reissue GB's (made in England) and the Scumbacks were warmer, tighter and way more aggressive.

I hated the ASW.

Yeah those ASW's were terrible to my ears. I need to listen again on my studio monitors.

They had their differences, but this is why I still say cabs have more of an influence on tones over speakers.

GB Reissue and M75 both sound really good. The 65watt option makes the M75's more practical...

I really like the Greenback Reissues followed by the Scumback!!! Of course the 1967 version sounds awesome too, but they are not as easily attainable!!

Are the Greenback Reissue's the made in China ones?
They sounded fine to me and if they are $$$ cheaper..
No brainer then.

So which Celestion is the EVH one similar to?

I preferred the reissues. Great speakers :)

The EVH are relabeled G12M Heritage speakers :)

This should be the recipe to any sort of comparison video.

Awesome with the royer mic position instead of a close 57 like always... gives a more qualified and natural image.

hot damn, the 67's sound super tasty =0 the RI's for me after that, then the heritage, other two sounded somewhat muffled for whatever reason

Wow, I'm a Scumback M75 user but I thought the reissue Greenbacks sounded fuller...and were the best sounding of all the new speakers in the test (ASW were the worst...very boxy in comparison IMO). Things that make you go hmmm?

Love this video!

67 rocked, reissue was damn nice, and I was surprised how much I liked the Scumbacks by the end of the test. I didn't like them at first, but they grew on me quickly. ASW = garbage. Didn't care much for the Heritage either, but they're still not bad.

I've owned M75's and Greenbacks in the past. I got the M75's because they make them in 65 watts. They sounded great to me so no complaints, but if I'm looking at 25 watt models I'm going Celestion because they sound as good and are a lot cheaper. But 2 speakers in a 2x12 cab it's gotta be the M75 65 watters.

That's why I got rid of my GB's. I needed more output but my aforementioned descrption was my discovery later on.
